On the morning of Sept. 2nd, the round-island hiking competition, organized by LTMG, was kicked off at Huandao road in Xiamen. As a charity project, 126 hikers from outside the company were attracted to participate.

Since 7:30 am, hiking enthusiasts have come to the starting point of the competition on Huandao Road, the Convention and Exhibition Center(the venue of the BRICS conference).The contestants have successively come to sign up in groups, and the registration scene is extremely lively. People who participate in the race said that the race not only protected the traditional culture of Xiamen , but also achieved the goal of national fitness.

At 9 o'clock am, the participants attended the ceremony at the starting point and  swore to the slogan "friendship first, competition second". At half past nine, they took on the mission of promoting green environmental protection and start the hiking competition with passion. It is understood that there are 86 people participated in the competition, and about 50 of them were cheerleading team, The end of the competition was the famous Chinese university “Xiamen University”, the route passing “One Country, Two Systems, Yefengzhai,  Zengcuo’an, Music Island, Baicheng, Xiamen University”. The route was 22 kilometers and passed many tourist attractions . During the competition, five service replenishment stations were set up along the way in order to better serve the contestants.
