Forklift Operation Process
Release Date:2021-11-17 Views:375

A. Check the forklift

   1. Before forklift operation, check the appearance and fill in fuel, lubricating oil and cooling water.

   2. Check the starting, running and braking performance.

   3. Check whether the lighting and audio signals are complete and effective.

   4. Check whether the pressure and temperature are normal during the operation of the forklift.

  B. Getting started

   1. Before starting, observe the surroundings and confirm that there are no obstacles that hinder the safety of driving, then sound the whistle first, and then start.

  2. For vehicles with pneumatic braking, the brake air pressure gauge must reach the specified value before they can start. When starting, they must start slowly and steadily.

   C. Driving

   1. When driving, the height of the bottom of the fork from the ground should be kept 300-400mm, and the mast should be tilted backward.

   2. Do not raise the fork too high while driving. When the load is driven, if the fork lifts too high, it will increase the height of the overall center of gravity of the forklift and affect the stability of the forklift.

   4. High-speed sharp turns are prohibited. A sharp turn at high speed will cause the vehicle to lose lateral stability and tip over. It is forbidden to brake suddenly while carrying a load.

   5. When the internal combustion forklift is going downhill, it is strictly forbidden to stall and slide.

   6. When the forklift truck goes downhill, it should drive backwards to prevent the goods from falling over.

  D. Loading and unloading

   1. When fork loading items, the distance between the two forks should be adjusted as needed to balance the load of the two forks without being skewed. One side of the item should be close to the shelf, and the weight of the fork should meet the requirements of the load center curve sign.

   2. The height of the load must not obscure the driver's sight.

   3. In the process of loading and unloading items, the forklift must be braked with a brake.

   4. When picking up goods with a fork, the fork should be as deep as possible under the load, and the tip of the fork should not touch other goods or objects. The minimum mast tilt should be used to stabilize the load to prevent the load from sliding backwards.
